Overview As Staff Counsel in Litigation, you will drive case strategy and represent Slide in court across all litigation phases. You will work within our collaborative, innovation-driven culture to handle first-party property defense matters and insurance-related disputes. Partner with cross-functional teams to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision while upholding Slide's core values. Responsibilities- Handle litigation cases through all phases from filing to disposition
- Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials
- Manage litigation strategy and represent the company in court
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- 4+ years of litigation experience in Florida
- First-party property defense experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutes
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills
- Ability to independently analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervision
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
