Overview

In this role you will serve as the senior strategic advisor on organization and talent to R&D senior leaders, shaping long-term capability plans and governance. You will lead a team of OTP partners and coordinate with COEs and HR functions to translate strategy into organization and workforce actions. You'll drive enterprise-wide workforce planning, organization design, and leadership development to enable transformational priorities. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role that blends strategy, execution, and culture to advance the company's R&D agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business strategy into long-term organization and talent agendas
  • Lead organization capability planning, including structures, roles, and capabilities
  • Drive strategic workforce planning aligned with business direction and transformation
  • Provide enterprise perspective on leadership and workforce implications across divisions and countries
  • Develop leaders and succession plans for critical populations; coach senior leaders
  • Support transformational efforts from an organization and talent perspective
  • Implement macro-level organizational change and ensure effective cross-functional partnerships
  • Engage with TELs, COEs, ETHR, HR Solutions & Operations to deliver high-value priorities
Key requirements
  • 12+ years of progressive HR or related experience in a complex, global environment
  • Experience advising and coaching senior executives and leadership teams
  • Broad experience in strategic workforce planning, organization design and development, talent and succession
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or science-based organizations
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and coordinate across organizational boundaries
  • Global perspective with cultural sensitivity in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, business judgment, and analytics
