Overview

In this role you own a portfolio of contract manufacturing accounts for Summit Nutri-Science. You will build and maintain trust with client stakeholders across production, quality, supply chain, and finance to ensure orders and timelines are met. You will identify upsell opportunities and secure new contracts to expand each partnership, while coordinating cross-functionally to deliver on commitments. You will represent Summit Nutri-Science at industry events and provide market insights to leadership. This position offers meaningful impact by growing key relationships and shaping manufacturing partnerships within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage assigned contract manufacturing accounts as the primary relationship owner
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts through upsells and new contracts
  • Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, and finance to meet orders, timelines, and specs
  • Prepare and present account reviews, forecasts, and performance to clients and leadership
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with input from legal and finance
  • Resolve client escalations and coordinate cross-functionally for timely resolutions
  • Monitor account health metrics (volume, margin, satisfaction) and address retention risks
  • Onboard new clients ensuring smooth sales-to-account transition
  • Represent Summit Nutri-Science at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings
  • Contribute to development of sales collateral and proposals
  • Provide input on market trends and competitive intelligence in contract manufacturing
  • Assist with special projects related to account strategy or process improvement
Key requirements
  • Three plus years of experience in account management, sales, or client relationships
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production timelines
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%
