Responsibilities- handle civil defense litigation in state and federal courts
- prepare cases for trial
- conduct research and draft pleadings and memoranda
- manage pre-trial discovery and depositions
- work independently and within a team
- travel as required
Key requirements- admitted to the Illinois bar in good standing
- experience in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts
- ability to hit the ground running and prepare cases for trial
- organization, self-motivation, and ability to handle files with minimal supervision
- trial skills a plus but not required
- excellent research and writing
