Overview In this HR Generalist role, you drive people strategies and compliance to support a respectful, engaging associate experience within logistics. You partner with location leaders to align talent initiatives with business goals and to foster retention and culture. You'll analyze trends, provide guidance on risks and opportunities, and help implement HR programs across the organization. This role offers impact through cross-functional collaboration and DEI alignment, shaping how teams grow and perform.
Responsibilities- Drive retention, engagement, accountability and culture strategies with business partners
- Engage leadership to identify opportunities for a better associate experience
- Provide day-to-day guidance, counsel and support on talent strategies
- Provide visibility into trends, root causes, and communicate to HR leadership and business partners
- Educate partners with insights on risks and opportunities
- Maintain influential relationships with internal and external partners
- Support and influence implementation of HR initiatives across the organization
- Develop reports and initiatives using data tools based on evolving business needs
- Advocate Kohl's values and DEI initiatives
Key requirements- 2+ years of experience in associate relations or HR
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical, planning and organization, decision making and leadership skills
