Overview In this role you will handle business litigation for a well-established Concord, NH firm with cross-state practice. You will support clients across NH, MA, VT, and ME, handling cases from intake through trial and appeal. The position emphasizes independent caseload management, strong advocacy, and collaboration with associates and paralegals. Responsibilities- Investigate cases from intake to resolution
- Manage strategy including pre-suit demands, pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial prep
- Represent clients in state and federal courts across NH, MA, VT, and ME
- Handle a broad range of business litigation matters
- Advise on dispositive motions, mediation, arbitration, and settlements
- Collaborate with associates and paralegals on case strategy
- Support diverse clients including businesses, individuals, non-profits, and municipalities
Key requirements- Admission to the New Hampshire bar
- Three to six+ years of litigation experience
- Experience handling business litigation preferred
- Background in corporate litigation a plus
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently from pre-suit through trial and appeal
- Familiarity with NH state and federal court procedures preferred
