We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to take a leadership role overseeing complex commercial construction projects throughout Northern California.
This is an opportunity for a proven field leader who wants to have a meaningful impact beyond a single project. You will work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, Preconstruction, clients, and trade partners while providing leadership and mentorship to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who knows how to build exceptional teams, drive project execution, solve complex field challenges, and consistently deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
• Provide senior level field leadership on complex commercial construction projects
• Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and General Foremen
• Partner with Project Executives and Project Managers on construction strategy, scheduling, logistics, risk management, and project execution
• Lead preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, sequencing, BIM coordination, and field logistics
• Oversee master schedules and short interval planning to keep projects moving efficiently
• Identify and resolve complex field issues involving owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and accountability across field operations
• Provide input on manpower planning, production tracking, forecasting, change orders, and project risk
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, inspectors, subcontractors, and trade partners
• Conduct project debriefs and help implement best practices across future projects
• Play a key role in developing a high performing field organization
What We're Looking For
• 10+ years of construction field leadership experience
• 5+ years leading or managing Superintendents on ground up construction projects
• Experience with complex commercial, healthcare, education, life sciences, or mission critical projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, scheduling, safety, and QA/QC
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and schedules
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of California construction regulations, Cal/OSHA, labor compliance, and field best practices
• OSHA 30 certification required
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• Proven ability to lead large teams, develop people, resolve conflict, and build strong client relationships
