We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You'll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. Compensation:$13 hourly
Responsibilities:- Answer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
- Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
- Field customer complaints when necessary
- Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
- Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
- Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Qualifications:- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
- Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
- At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
- PEP reservation system preferred
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift
