Overview As a Senior Financial Analyst in DET's Content Finance COE, you partner with ABC Entertainment and Freeform to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for content. You'll build and maintain forecasting models, harmonize reporting across brands, and identify risks and opportunities to support executive decisions. This role blends deep production finance knowledge with strategic planning and AI-enabled process improvements. You'll work with cross-functional teams to enhance forecast accuracy and drive data-driven insights in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities- Forecasting & analysis for AOP, LRP, and quarterly content spend by title
- Build and maintain detailed forecasting models for amortization, development, and production
- Consolidate reporting with brand leads to standardize content reporting across DET brands
- Prepare variance analysis against forecasts, budgets, and prior plans; track risks & opportunities
- Provide high-impact ad hoc reporting to identify trends and support executive inquiries
- Support finance transformation and AI integration; recommend process simplification and efficiency improvements
Key requirements- 2+ years in FP&A, accounting, studio finance, or related entertainment industry role
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration across teams
- Independent yet team-oriented with strong time management and attention to detail
- Prior film/TV industry experience is a plus
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics tools to streamline processes
