ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1990 and currently lead a team of six. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked as a legislative assistant. Growing up in an insurance family-my father was an agent as well-I saw firsthand the opportunity this career offers and knew I wanted to build something of my own.
I have three adult sons, and outside of the office I enjoy staying active. I'm an avid hiker and even hiked Mount Kilimanjaro last year-an experience that reflects the kind of challenge and perseverance I value both personally and professionally.
I'm very involved in the community. My golden retriever and I volunteer at schools and hospitals, and I also spend time teaching English to Spanish speakers and mentoring children from single-parent homes. Giving back and making a difference is an important part of who I am.
Our agency offers health insurance after 90 days, Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, work-life balance, external coaching, and ongoing team training. I also provide lunch during team meetings as a way to bring everyone together and stay connected.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Lisa Dobbs - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
