Responsibilities include: Support the infrastructure which will include troubleshooting servers, applications issues, database issues, and networking. Manage and implement end-to-end Linux based infrastructure that hosts many critical core components such as Database, GRID Computing, and Enterprise Job Schedulers Messaging Platforms. Ensure application issues on supported infrastructures are addressed and proactively fixed before user impact. Troubleshoot Production issues and identify Root Cause Prevention as well provide governance to ensure you are fully compliant with the firms disaster recovery policies and standards. Support and monitor application infrastructure and various internal core components and dependent technologies. Provide Capacity planning, conducting analysis of Core and LOB Infrastructure capacity reviews to ensure a sufficient level of infrastructure capacity, availability, and resiliency. Work with different regional teams (AMERS, EMEA, etc.) and LOB's for coordinating Business Continuity testing as well identifying areas for improvements and prioritizing tasks internally.
