Overview In this role you will lead the company's global consolidation process, guiding a team of senior accountants/analysts. You will own the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and ensure accurate IFRS-to-US GAAP adjustments across subsidiaries. You'll partner with international finance teams to deliver timely close and robust management commentary. This is a strategic position that shapes consolidation quality, regulatory readiness, and scalable reporting for a growing global entity.
Responsibilities- Direct the global consolidation process and supervise consolidation staff
- Own preparation and review of consolidating balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows across subsidiaries
- Review and approve IFRS-to-US GAAP consolidation adjustments and key GAAP differences
- Maintain and enhance consolidation adjustments, including eliminations and currency translation
- Review and post journal entries and account reconciliations by consolidations staff
- Manage intercompany accounting processes and settlement
- Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/annual close and deliverables
- Prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages and management commentary
- Oversee quarterly consolidating financial statements and footnote support for SEC filings
- Serve as liaison with external auditors on consolidation and translation matters
- Partner with international teams on local-GAAP to US GAAP/IFRS conversion packages
- Support maintenance and improvement of consolidation systems and chart of accounts
- Involve in accounting changes related to acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings
- Assist in regulatory financial statement requirements and audits
Key requirements- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 3 years in a consolidations supervisory role
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with IFRS-to-US GAAP consolidation adjustments in a global SEC registrant environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with other financial systems
- Strong ability to work independently and prioritize multiple demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
