Overview In this role you will optimize Navy program operations by analyzing processes, implementing policy improvements, and coordinating resources, staff, and schedules. You'll work with program teams to set strategy, track budgets and compliance, and drive efficiency. This position blends analytical rigor with hands-on planning to help Navy initiatives run on time and within cost. Responsibilities- Analyze processes and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations and reduce time and cost
- Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing objectives and schedules
- Interpret and analyze policies, rules, regulations for organizations and employees
- Coordinate with program personnel to discuss issues, resolve problems, and set strategy
- Report project status including budget, resources, technical issues, and compliance to programs
- Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans and processes
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet program schedules
- Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field
- minimum 10 years of professional experience supporting a US Navy program (with degree)
- or minimum 15 years of professional experience supporting a US Navy program (without degree)
- experience with Navy programs involving small combatants
- active DoD SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain
