Financial Specialist

In this role you will support a federal finance initiative focused on improving financial processes and achieving audit readiness. You join a large project team to guide business processes, controls, and finance systems so the client can produce auditable financial statements. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure sound financial management and compliance. The position offers exposure to federal accounting practices, internal controls testing, and collaboration with both military and civilian teams.

• Provide guidance on finance business processes, controls, and financial management systems
• Support efforts to produce auditable financial statements
• Assist with financial improvement and audit readiness activities
• Collaborate with project team and stakeholders across functions
• Contribute to testing of internal controls and financial statement accuracy

• 5+ years of federal accounting/auditing, federal financial statement audits, or audit/internal controls testing
• 2+ years of financial improvement and audit readiness experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
• Eligible for secret clearance
