Overview As Senior Storage Architect, you will define the architectural vision for enterprise storage services and guide their lifecycle from strategy to execution. You will align storage solutions with enterprise tech strategy, security, resiliency, and cloud adoption goals, influencing multiple infrastructure domains. You will lead architectural discussions, design complex solutions, and drive standardized practices across teams. This role offers the chance to shape storage capabilities that enable scalable, secure, and resilient data infrastructure. You will partner with product managers, vendors, and leadership to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps.

Responsibilities- Create solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions and translate requirements into a technology backlog
- Contribute to architecture roadmaps for defined domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology) aligned to product roadmaps
- Clarify architecture, assist with system design, and propose solution options to overcome impediments
- Lead design of complex architectures, enabling flexible, modular, and adaptable solutions
- Educate teams on technology practices, standardization, and best practices
- Support technology stack selection and vendor/product choices
- Perform design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements like security, performance, and scalability
- Serve as lead architect for enterprise midrange storage services (File/NAS, Block, Object, Data Protection/Backup)
- Create and maintain storage blueprints, reference architectures, standards, and lifecycle strategies
- Define future-state architectures and transition plans for storage and data protection
- Evaluate emerging tech and vendor roadmaps to identify opportunities
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define service capabilities and adoption strategies
- Work with Vendor Managers to influence product direction and drive feature adoption
- Provide architecture governance and design reviews for strategic projects
- Support capacity planning, performance, cyber resiliency, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Author and present architecture recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage engineering, or storage architecture
- 5+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise storage solutions
- Deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP, Dell PowerMax, Hitachi HCP, NetApp StorageGRID, Cohesity, NetBackup
- Strong understanding of NAS (NFS/SMB), SAN (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP), Object Storage (S3) and backup architectures
- Experience developing technology roadmaps and strategic infrastructure plans
- Experience producing architecture documents, blueprints, and design standards
- Proven ability to lead complex architecture initiatives across multiple teams
