Overview In this role you will drive the Maximo/MAS program strategy for a large, multi-year implementation, shaping scope, value, and release planning. You will partner with leaders to define success metrics and lead end-to-end process design and optimization across the asset management lifecycle. You will translate operational needs into Maximo capabilities, manage the product backlog, and enable adoption through training and governance. You will work with cross-functional teams and executives to ensure outcomes, data quality, and insightful reporting. This is a client-facing, impact-focused role that blends product leadership with delivery excellence.
Responsibilities- Own the Maximo product strategy and release planning for a large MAS program across modules
- Define success metrics and KPIs with business and operations leaders
- Lead end-to-end process design and continuous improvement across the work lifecycle
- Translate operational needs into Maximo capabilities (config, automation, integration, data standards)
- Manage the product backlog: requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, release readiness
- Facilitate workshops and agile ceremonies; support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Drive SIT/UAT readiness with technical teams and business testers
- Incorporate mobile execution considerations into design for adoption and productivity
- Lead enablement, training, and adoption with materials for users and admins
- Strengthen data quality and reporting with standards, governance, and dashboards
- Communicate effectively to stakeholders with high-quality artifacts (flows, logs, status, presentations)
Key requirements- 6+ years of IBM Maximo and/or MAS in enterprise environments
- Deep experience across asset management, work management, inventory/storeroom, and procurement processes and Maximo configuration
- Proven Product Manager / Product Owner / Functional Lead for Maximo implementations or large run/operate programs
- Strong client-facing consulting experience and stakeholder alignment
- Experience developing and delivering training and enablement content
- Strong documentation skills (process flows, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, logs, presentations)
- Familiarity with agile delivery methods and release management tools (Jira / Azure DevOps)
- Experience using AI-enabled tools and digital technologies to improve efficiency and quality
- Ability to travel up to 50%

- Preferred: IBM Maximo/MAS certification; Agile certifications; experience with PM, Planning & Scheduling, Assets/Locations, Purchasing, Inventory/Storeroom, mobile, analytics; MAS concepts; industry experience in utilities/oil & gas/manufacturing/transportation/public sector
