Overview In this role you lead Amgen's UPLIZNA Neurology regional sales team, translating brand priorities into region-wide strategy and high-impact execution. You'll develop District Managers, align cross-functional partners, and drive sustainable performance in a complex rare disease market. You'll synthesize data and market insights to shape plans, while fostering an inclusive, compliant, high-performing culture. Responsibilities- Lead the regional UPLIZNA Neurology sales organization across the assigned region
- Translate brand strategy into focused regional plans and execution standards
- Develop District Managers and field teams to deliver results and maintain accountability
- Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Training, and other partners to align on brand objectives
- Allocate regional resources, budget, and investments to high-priority opportunities
- Synthesize performance data and market signals to adjust regional plans
- Maintain deep knowledge of gMG and NMOSD, UPLIZNA profile and market dynamics
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and participate in major congresses and strategic events
- Ensure activities comply with laws, regulations and Amgen policies
- Develop leadership capability and succession plans across the region
- Lead through change with clear communication and alignment across teams
Key requirements- Doctorate + 4 years of account management/sales/marketing/commercial experience OR Master + 8 years OR Bachelor + 10 years with 4 years of people/leadership experience
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience (preferred)
- 10+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical commercial experience (preferred)
- Strong executive presence, communication, and ability to influence across levels
- Proven ability to translate brand priorities into execution standards and operating rhythms
- Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel 60%
