Overview

In this role you drive the design, development, and secure delivery of trusted software within Corporate Technology. You will work as a core technical contributor across multiple domains, partnering with agile teams to advance scalable, secure technology solutions. You will leverage AI-assisted engineering to improve quality and speed, while mentoring engineers on safe adoption and best practices. Responsibilities
  • Create innovative software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot complex systems
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' code
  • Champion the use of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability
  • Apply SDLC tools and automation to increase value and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues to boost stability
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering plus 5+ years of applied experience (NAMR/APAC region) or advanced applied experience (EMEA/LATAM-Brazil); local guidelines apply for Singapore
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with emphasis on validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs
  • Full SDLC proficiency and strong grasp of agile methods including CI/CD, resiliency, and security
  • Solid knowledge of the financial services IT landscape and cloud-native experience
