Overview In this role you lead the Investment Oversight Team to ensure prudent, policy-aligned investments for Fidelity Charitable, balancing liquidity for grantmaking with a diversified, multi-asset portfolio. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for internal partners and external advisors, shaping investment governance and reporting. You will mentor a small team and drive enhancements in monitoring, analytics, and documentation. This position supports Fidelity Charitable's mission to grow philanthropy by providing accessible, effective giving programs, at scale.
Responsibilities- Oversee timely execution of oversight duties
- Strengthen investment monitoring capabilities and analyses
- Prepare reports and research for Board and senior leadership
- Foster strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Mentor and develop associates in line with leadership principles
- Support cross-functional collaboration and a respectful work environment
- Maintain documentation and drive process improvements
- Ensure investments align with policies and liquidity needs
Key requirements- 10-12 years of experience in guidelines development and monitoring multi-asset portfolios
- Experience evaluating performance measurement and attribution of active managed portfolios
- Strong understanding of public equities, fixed income, international and derivatives
- Knowledge of alternative investments and their role in diversified portfolios
- Experience creating investment reporting for senior leadership and boards
- Proven team leadership and career development experience
- Excellent written/oral communication and decision-making skills
- Strong project-management and end-to-end process understanding
- Ability to re-engineer processes and maintain detailed documentation
