Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end production of water treatment systems on-site in Libertyville, focusing on assembly, testing, and packaging. You will partner with Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to optimize resources and meet short-term schedules. You'll translate operational data into daily performance while fostering a safe, Lean-driven culture. This is a hands-on, high-visibility leadership position that shapes production outcomes and continuous improvement. You will drive impactful improvements through data, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities- Direct daily assembly and production operations to meet 1-2 week build schedules
- Align labor, machinery, and materials to meet delivery targets while managing budgets and reducing waste
- Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, and Procurement to align weekly production with inventory and demand
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure finished systems meet specifications
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, bottlenecks, and improve OEE
- Utilize ERP/MRP/MES systems and build performance dashboards (Excel/PowerBI) to monitor productivity, capacity, and variances
- Hire, train, and supervise production workers and supervisors; foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
- Enforce OSHA and safety regulations; proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and resource constraints
Key requirements- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in a regulated, assembly-oriented, or high-volume environment
- 5+ years of direct experience managing production supervisors, team leads, or multi-department operations
- Proven ability to build and interpret reports using Excel and PowerBI
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- BSc degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or related technical field
- On-site commitment in Libertyville, IL with early shift (6:00 AM-3:00 PM)
