Plant Manager

In this role you drive the full P&L for the Medon stave mill, balancing long-term planning with on-the-floor leadership. You own safety, quality, and cost performance and shape the site culture through hands-on management of production, maintenance, HR, and safety. You'll lead a cross-functional team to sustain reliable equipment, capital projects, and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact role at a world-renowned spirits company.

• Own the site's financial performance including OOP, labor, wood cost, maintenance spend, and capital needs
• Serve as the senior accountable safety leader and foster a strong safety culture
• Drive quality, output, yield, and cost performance using lean manufacturing principles
• Lead and develop supervisors and production teams across production, maintenance, HR, and safety
• Maintain reliable equipment and site infrastructure via preventive maintenance and capital project execution

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent leadership experience
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, operating costs, and forecasts
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and structured problem solving
• Preferred: experience with wood products or stave/mill operations and full P&L ownership
• Experience as Plant Manager, Mill Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent senior site leader
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations and site safety systems
