Key Responsibilities as the Paper Machine Manager:
Lead overall paper mill operations to meet production, quality, safety, and cost targets
Lead and develop teams across multiple levels, including operators, supervisors, and superintendents
Monitor and improve key operating metrics, productivity, reliability, and efficiency
Drive root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Champion safety, quality, compliance, and environmental standards
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, and Quality teams to improve mill performance
Provide leadership and direction for capital projects, modernization, and operational improvements.
Minimum requirements for this Paper Machine Manager:
Strong paper manufacturing experience required
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Paper Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Reliability, or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a paper manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience leading operators, supervisors, and/or superintendents
Strong technical and operational knowledge of paper manufacturing
Tissue/Towel experience strongly preferred
Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills
Stable career progression and demonstrated success taking on increasing responsibility
Must be willing to relocate and work on-site.
