Overview In this Revenue & Pricing Analyst role, you will maintain cost-of-service studies and rate models, support monthly cost recovery reconciliations, and analyze impacts on customer bills. You'll participate in rate setting, validate costs, and publish accurate rates in SAP for billing purposes. You will monitor rate filings and market trends to assess effects on customer costs, contributing to data-driven pricing decisions within the utility domain. This role combines analysis with cross-functional collaboration to optimize revenue and pricing strategies.
Responsibilities- Maintain COS studies and commodity rate models
- Support monthly cost recovery reconciliations and ECA processes
- Collaborate on rate setting, including impact analysis on bills
- Validate costs to customers via COS and ECAs
- Publish and maintain rates in SAP and external rate postings
- Stay updated on rate filings and market trends in utilities
- Prepare COS and rate-related Trustee items
- Develop customer savings/cost comparisons using market analysis models
Key requirements- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, data linking)
- Basic knowledge of the utility industry and NYISO market
- Intermediate economics, finance, and accounting concepts
- Strong analytical and statistical capabilities
- Excellent communication and ability to present concepts
- Team-oriented with proactive problem-solving
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant analytical experience
- 2+ years of utility revenue, pricing, and market analysis experience preferred
