Overview In this role, you will lead and contribute to medium-to-large product teams, owning the design, development, and delivery of solutions and infrastructure. You'll guide AI-forward development to raise quality and speed, aligning technical work with business needs. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications meet requirements and standards. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on engineering excellence and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities- Tackle complex development tasks including coding, debugging, and testing across the project lifecycle
- Provide advanced technical leadership to improve efficiency, reliability and value from current solutions and emerging technologies
- Foster collaboration with peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture to engineer leading solutions
- Take a leadership role for the work group, setting expectations, structures, tools, and responsibilities
- Drive consistency in processes, standards, and technical design; support the adoption of technology standards
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans
Key requirements- Advanced proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions
- Expertise in one of: C#/Java or Python
- Experience with data modeling and data technologies (OLTP/OLAP/NoSQL/data lineage)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10+ years of experience in software/platform engineering
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools (GitHub, ADO)
- Experience with AI model development, embedding models, and NLP tasks
- Familiarity with AI agents and autonomous decision-making architectures
- Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud/data services familiarity (DataBricks, Azure, MSFT Fabric)
