Overview In this role you own the technical sales strategy for electronics design opportunities within Autodesk Fusion Electronics. You'll help build the territory, develop the partner ecosystem, and shape the narrative to convert interest into deals. You work with cross-functional teams to map customers from current ECAD/MCAD workflows to Fusion, guiding evaluations, pilots, and migrations. You simplify complex electronics decisions for executives and engineers, driving faster launches and lower costs. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-moving team that combines startup-style speed with global scale, backed by Autodesk's leadership in design software.
Compensation / Benefits- health and financial benefits
- time away and everyday wellness
- salary transparency
- OTE for sales roles
- stock grants
Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end technical sales cycle: discovery, requirement validation, solution design, value proof, objection handling, and closure.
- Conduct deep discovery of customers' tools and ECAD-MCAD handoffs and map a path to Fusion.
- Deliver precise demos and proof points across schematic, PCB layout, library management, design rules, simulation, ECAD-MCAD co-design, and manufacturing path.
- Lead evaluations, pilots, and migration assessments with credible plans for moving designs and standards to Fusion.
- Address technical objections related to board complexity, interoperability, file formats, and tool integration.
- Build trust with engineers to executives, aligning sales, partners, product, and engineering around win themes.
- Generate and grow pipeline through direct and partner motions; recruit, enable, and co-sell with channel partners and ecosystem players.
- Expand market footprint via evangelism and marketing activities and cross-sell into broader Fusion platform areas.
Key requirements- Extensive electronics design and PCB development experience across schematic capture, board layout, library management, and manufacturing outputs with fluency in ECAD/EDA tools (Fusion Electronics, Altium Designer, Cadence, Siemens, KiCad).
- Understanding of ECAD-MCAD co-design and how electronics and mechanical workflows connect (enclosures, form/function validation).
- Experience in technical sales (presales/solution consulting/sales engineering) with strong discovery skills and cross-functional process re-architecture.
- Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills for technical, business, and executive audiences, linking technology to outcomes like faster launches and lower costs.
- Experience driving opportunities through direct and partner motions (prospecting, territory development, evangelism, co-selling) and enabling channel partners.
