Overview As a Senior Consultant in HR Transformation, you partner with senior HR and business leaders to guide end-to-end transformation efforts from discovery to future-state operating models and processes. You'll design, map, and optimize core HR domains such as hire-to-retire, performance, and learning, while shaping HR technology advisory and governance. You'll contribute to people analytics, workforce planning, and AI-enabled use cases, helping clients scale and improve employee experience. This role blends strategic advisory with hands-on design, delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable transformation outcomes.

Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end HR transformation engagements from discovery to future-state design and delivery
- Partner with HR leaders to define service delivery models, organizational structures, and business cases
- Design and optimize hire-to-retire processes, including payroll and time-related workflows
- Provide HR technology advisory support, including ERP/HRIS vendor assessments and implementation readiness
- Contribute to people analytics, workforce planning, and scenario modeling initiatives
- Build and maintain client relationships to drive outcomes and expand Slalom's footprint
- Contribute to HRT practice development and go-to-market materials
- Identify and help implement AI-enabled HR use cases within broader transformation programs
- Collaborate across the Workforce Modernization portfolio with Change Acceleration and Talent & Culture teams
Key requirements- 5-8+ years in HR consulting, advisory, or related field with strong HR operating model/design and process optimization background
- Proven ability to lead discovery, design, and delivery across HR engagements and facilitation of workshops
- Advisory experience on HR service delivery models, org structures, and governance
- Familiarity with HRIS landscape (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.) and ability to act as a system-agnostic advisor
- Hands-on experience in payroll, time & absence, workforce management, or HR service delivery
- Understanding of people analytics and strategic workforce planning concepts
- Strong cross-stakeholder communication and project management skills
- Mentoring experience and ability to contribute to team development
