Overview As Director of Pharmacy, you will lead the Pharmacy Department's strategy and operations to ensure safe, effective patient care and regulatory compliance. You will partner with the administrative team to align initiatives across the enterprise, standardize processes, and implement cost-saving and best-practice clinical programs. You drive patient-centered care by optimizing resources, safety initiatives, and performance standards. Responsibilities- Set strategic direction and operational plans for the Pharmacy Department
- Lead operations, clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and budget stewardship
- Partner with administrative leadership to align local and enterprise initiatives
- Oversee patient medication safety strategies and pharmacotherapy programs
- Standardize processes and promote cost-saving initiatives across facilities
- Drive best-practice clinical programs and cross-entity collaboration
- Monitor quality standards and productivity, ensuring timely, high-quality service
Key requirements- PharmD and licensed Pharmacist (PHARMD, RPH)
- 12 years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, budgeting, and regulatory requirements
- Proven management experience across multiple facilities and entities
- Experience with project coordination and implementing clinical programs
- Familiarity with CABOP, TJC, California DPHS, DEA, FDA, USP standards
