Overview

As a Senior Consultant in AECOM Advisory, you will define and lead workstreams within larger engagements, applying frameworks and creating data-driven insights. You will conduct stakeholder interviews, build financial models, and synthesize findings into executive-ready materials. You'll leverage AI and geospatial tools to inform client recommendations and contribute to business development. This role blends analytical rigor with client-facing advisory to drive infrastructure outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Define, lead and manage multiple tasks within a workstream for a larger engagement
  • Apply solution frameworks to deconstruct problems and inform decisions
  • Leverage AI tools for baseline assessments and secondary research
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews with C-suite and senior management
  • Build financial models (DCF, CBA, NPV, IRR, EBITDA, CAGR) for policies and projects
  • Utilize geospatial and data visualization tools (ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, Python, Tableau) to derive insights
  • Oversee junior team members and ensure quality in analytical work
  • Create polished executive-ready decks and narratives to communicate data-driven insights
  • Synthesize inputs across formats (slides, narratives, playbooks, dashboards)
  • Support business development through solutions architecture, technical writing, and pitch materials
  • Maintain risk management and compliance in logistics and administrative processes
