Overview In this role you will support engineering and design for complex projects at a Savannah River Site engagement, coordinating cross functional teams and subcontractors. You'll establish design baselines, monitor cost and schedule, and drive technical alignment with project management. You will work with federal-sector clients and vendors to deliver compliant, high quality engineering outputs. This position offers exposure to environmental, energy, and nuclear engineering contexts within a trusted consultancy.

Responsibilities- Direct engineering and design activities for in house and subcontractor work
- Coordinate with project managers, systems and construction managers, and other engineering leaders
- Establish design baselines, staffing plans, schedules, and engineering tools
- Monitor cost and schedule variances and implement corrective actions
- Manage procurement for engineered materials and interfaces with vendors
- Travel as needed to interface with vendors and other engineering organizations
- Support compliance with technical and safety criteria across projects
Key requirements- Consecutive relevant work experience within the last five years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools
- Ability to deliver thorough, well-documented work respecting milestones
- U.S. citizenship and potential for security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8-14 years of experience in engineering/project management
- Ability to plan interdisciplinary activities and manage subcontracting/procurement practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Security clearance up to Top Secret/DOE Q may be required
