Overview In this Medical Director role, you provide clinical oversight for one or more trials and help shape early and translational studies within a fast-moving cancer immunotherapy company. You work with cross-functional teams to design, monitor, and execute trials, translate preclinical findings into clinical opportunities, and contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific communication. You will engage with investigators, regulators, and external experts to advance study execution and patient outcomes in neurology and autoimmune contexts.

Responsibilities- Provide clinical oversight and medical monitoring for trials in neurology and/or autoimmune disease
- Contribute to design and implementation of early-phase and proof-of-concept studies with senior leaders
- Draft/review protocols, amendments, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, informed consent forms, safety narratives and other documents
- Participate in investigator meetings, site engagements, and site initiation activities
- Support execution of development plans by identifying risks, mitigations, milestones, and budget-conscious decisions
- Interpret findings from research and translate them into clinical development opportunities
- Interact with investigators, key opinion leaders, and external experts to support study design and data interpretation
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Safety, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Translational Sciences, Medical Writing, and others to ensure quality and compliance
- Provide clinical input to regulatory submissions and responses to health authority questions (INDs, CTAs, etc.)
- Contribute to interactions with advisory boards and patient advocacy groups and internal stakeholders
- Present scientific/clinical data at meetings and potentially contribute to abstracts, presentations, and publications
- Support due diligence or clinical evaluation of external opportunities as needed
Key requirements- MD or DO
- 2 to 5 years of clinical, scientific, and/or drug development experience
- Working knowledge of clinical trial design, protocol development, safety review, and Good Clinical Practice
- Ability to function effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional team environment
