Overview In this Manager/Director - Transaction Tax role, you will lead tax due diligence, structuring, and modeling for acquisitions and dispositions for private equity, family offices, and strategic buyers. You will collaborate with SALT, International Tax, and Federal Tax Solutions teams to deliver comprehensive engagements and mentor junior staff. You'll manage engagement progress, budgets, and timelines while communicating key findings to partners. Responsibilities- Develop and nurture client relationships while expanding business opportunities
- Perform tax due diligence and related reporting for M&A deals
- Lead engagement management including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Collaborate with specialty tax groups (SALT, International, Federal) as needed
- Write and review tax due diligence reports and present findings to engagement principals
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Support senior leadership in business development and deal strategy
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of federal, state, and/or international tax compliance, planning, and consulting experience
- CPA license required
- JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA
