Overview

In this Regional Sales Manager role, you build and lead a high-performing district to advance patient outcomes and drive growth for Alora's specialty portfolio. You coach field teams, shape district strategies, and monitor analytics to optimize prescribing opportunities. You work cross-functionally to design plans, develop talent, and share best practices while upholding strong ethics and culture. This role offers leadership in a recognized, performance-driven company with a broad strategic impact.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team
  • Create and drive district strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals
  • Coach field sales reps on selling skills, product knowledge, and development
  • Monitor sales trends, activity, and market share to optimize resource use
  • Drive call plan adherence and execution
  • Ensure geography meets or exceeds sales targets
  • Set a positive tone for district work ethic, culture, and ethics
  • Assess competitive threats and respond appropriately
  • Aid in designing business and employee development plans, and monthly reports
  • Organize training, conferences, and district meetings
  • Share success stories and disseminate best practices across districts and nationally
  • Communicate regularly with sales leadership to report performance and develop opportunities
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Ability to influence team members' activities
  • 3+ years of sales management experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Healthcare
  • Proven ability to develop, motivate, and lead through change
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
  • Strong account management skills for health systems/urgent care/pharmacies access and pull-through
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with data-driven insights
  • Professional, proactive demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret and use business data to drive results
  • Overnight travel may be required; valid Driver's License; Computer/iPad proficient
