Overview In this role you will lead sourcing strategies for construction services in Amazon's Americas data center build-out. You will partner with internal teams and suppliers to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and cut costs while ensuring capacity and safety objectives. Your work spans global, cross-functional projects with a strong emphasis on data-driven decisions and supplier performance. This is an entrepreneurial, fast-paced position that shapes procurement programs for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Create and implement sourcing strategies for construction services in data center projects
- Collaborate with internal partners and suppliers to improve efficiency, reduce risk and costs
- Develop mechanisms and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery
- Drive results via competitive bidding, negotiations, and data/market trend analysis
- Interact with multiple teams across data center operations and prioritize actions for capacity availability and safety
- Lead local and global projects related to data center procurement and supplier management
Key requirements- 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
- 5+ years in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, financial analysis
- Bachelor in Supply Chain or related field
- Experience with data analysis tools (Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python)
- Experience in global supply chain management and leading cross-functional teams
