Overview As Group Copy Supervisor, you lead the copy function across key accounts, shaping brand voice and creative direction from concept to delivery. You partner closely with art leadership to tackle strategic challenges and ensure outputs are original, brand-consistent, scientifically accurate, and compliant. You'll mentor a team of creatives, manage multiple priorities, and build trusted relationships with clients and cross-functional partners. This role offers influence over strategic storytelling in a fast-paced, pharma-focused environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and ethics.
Responsibilities- Lead copy and creative direction across assigned accounts to shape strategically grounded work
- Collaborate with art leadership and cross-functional teams to develop original, integrated ideas from concept through delivery
- Review and guide outputs for writing quality, brand consistency, strategic alignment, scientific accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through collaboration, presentations, market research, and strategic discussions
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports with clear expectations, feedback, and career development
- Set priorities and manage workloads, schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple assignments
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment and build relationships across Creative, Client Services, Strategy, Medical, Science & Regulatory, and Production
- Stay current on healthcare, creative, cultural, and technology trends, including responsible AI, and share learnings to strengthen work
Key requirements- 7+ years in copywriting, advertising, marketing communications, or related creative discipline with a strong portfolio
- Experience leading copy and creative direction across complex brands or accounts from concept to execution
- Deep understanding of healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing, regulated review environments, and clinical developments
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, compelling creative communications
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and client-relations skills with experience defending creative and strategic ideas
- People-management experience including mentoring, coaching, performance management, and talent development
