Overview In this role you will design and coordinate electronic security systems for building projects, ensuring client needs are defined and met. You will develop construction documents and support across multidisciplinary teams to translate security concepts into deliverables. The position emphasizes collaboration, compliance with design standards, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to innovative infrastructure projects that power digital age needs and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities- Integrate electronic security systems knowledge with project coordination
- Design cabling pathways (conduits, cable trays) and bonding systems
- Meet with clients to define objectives and ensure alignment with design
- Create construction documents (SD, DD, CD) reflecting design intent and specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop functional requirements and system designs
- Edit and tailor security specifications to each project
- Maintain awareness of current product offerings and research new technologies
- Assist in problem resolution and field troubleshooting
- Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 0-5 years related work experience
- Strong problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks within schedule and budget
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD preferred
- Willingness to learn new applications quickly
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and design standards
- Continuous learning mindset
- Must be eligible for access to classified information per government security investigation requirements

- Associate or technical school degree with relevant experience
