Overview As Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency, you lead the IM residency strategy, standards, and quality. You align the program with hospital clinical services and physician practices to enhance value and education. You'll supervise clinical teaching, curriculum planning, and resident evaluation, shaping scholarly activity and program growth. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to foster a thriving GME environment and professional development. Responsibilities- Clinical teaching and supervision of residents
- General administration of the residency program
- GME committees and meetings coordination
- GME lecturing and teaching conferences
- GME recruiting and interview activities

- Resident evaluation and monitoring
- Program evaluation and quality improvement
- Support integration of the program with hospital services and physician practices
- Inpatient/outpatient service coverage related to hospitalist duties and resident continuity clinic
Key requirements- Three to five years of Internal Medicine post-residency clinical experience
- Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program
- Minimum of 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director
- Excellent communication skills
- Active involvement in research and scholarship (publications, presentations)
