Overview As District Sales Manager for IgG4-RD, you lead a regional team of Specialty Account Managers to drive market penetration and achieve sales goals. You translate corporate and therapeutic area goals into actionable plans, manage resources and cross-functional partners, and ensure compliant, high-impact product messaging. You build a trusted business partnership across the unit, coach performance, and develop talent while expanding relationships with customers and institutions. You'll operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on rare disease and IgG4-RD market dynamics. Responsibilities- Lead a geography and team of Speciality Account Managers to achieve IgG4-RD sales goals
- Develop and communicate clear sales purpose aligned with clinical and business objectives
- Optimize use of resources, tools, and cross-functional partners to drive execution
- Formulate and implement business strategy in line with corporate goals
- Oversee administrative duties, learning, and program funding
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all promotional and product activities
- Train the team to deliver consistent, high-impact product messaging
- Achieve target reach/frequency and relevant KPIs
- Foster trust and collaboration within the national IgG4-RD sales team
- Collaborate across divisions to reach objectives
- Recognize top performers and develop a professional workforce
- Develop and nurture customer relationships to drive business objectives
- Communicate insights and advocate initiatives
- Create professional growth plans for self and team
- Stay informed on IgG4-RD market issues and product knowledge
- Apply new technologies to improve efficiency and expand knowledge
- Conduct weekly ride-alongs with feedback and coaching
- Represent Amgen at trade shows and contribute to regional/national meetings
- Maintain safe working environment and adhere to policies

Key requirements- Doctorate with 2+ years sales/marketing experience OR
- Master's with 6+ years sales/marketing experience OR
- Bachelor's with 8+ years sales/marketing experience
- 2+ years of managerial experience overseeing people or projects
