Overview In this role you lead manufacturing quality at the site, aligning plant goals with global quality standards. You drive continuous improvement and ensure products meet customer requirements through robust quality systems. You will oversee the Quality Assurance team, manage compliance with QMS and IATF certifications, and maintain strong supplier and customer engagement. Your work supports a high-quality, reliable product and competitive advantage, while adopting Tenneco's values and fast-paced execution.
Responsibilities- Champions the quality function and drives the site to meet or exceed quality goals
- Ensures compliance with the Quality Management System and IATF certifications in line with global objectives
- Supervises the Quality Assurance Department, including budgeting and regular audits of quality processes
- Interacts with customers about plant certification and complaints, and coordinates corrective actions
- Implements procedures for incoming material/component inspection and collaborates with vendors on quality issues
- Trains and mentors staff on quality standards, processes, and procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading a quality function in a manufacturing environment
- Strategic vision and communication skills related to Quality Manufacturing Systems
- Proven experience in pursuing operational excellence within Quality Management
