Principal Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager

Overview

In this role you will advise and lead highly complex financing solutions for mid-corporate clients, coordinating with internal partners to deliver a full range of Wells Fargo offerings. You will influence enterprise-wide strategies, mentor colleagues, and drive cross-functional initiatives to meet client needs while maintaining risk controls. You will source new Commercial Auto relationships and manage a robust pipeline, with travel and FINRA licensing requirements. This is a high-impact, cross-organizational position within Specialized Industries and Commercial Bank.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on complex transactions (floor plan, acquisition financing, real estate lending) for mid-corporate clients
  • Lead development of client-specific solutions across enterprise-wide product areas
  • Provide vision and industry expertise to strategy and leadership across the organization
  • Improve processes and risk control while representing the company externally
  • Manage relationship planning and maintain sales and pipeline discipline in CRM systems
  • Source and originate new Commercial Auto relationships through networks and centers of influence
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience
  • Proven ability to generate and retain large client relationships (revenues $500MM+)
  • Experience with auto retailers (franchise dealership groups)
  • Experience leading or participating in syndications
  • Account relationship management in Middle Market / Mid-Corp / CIB
  • Prospecting skills with track record of converting prospects to clients
  • FINRA Series 63 and 79 (or recognized equivalents); license completion within 180 days if not immediately available
  • Strong knowledge of core banking products and services (commercial lending, treasury management)
  • Formal credit training; risk and compliance experience
