Overview

In this role you will support infrastructure and project finance portfolios by assessing risk, underwriting, and managing complex loans. You work closely with Credit, legal, and external partners to structure and close financings and to monitor ongoing performance. The role offers exposure to renewable energy, thermal, and midstream assets within a collaborative, cross-functional team. You will influence risk decisions and help sustain strong customer relationships in a dynamic banking environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor construction milestones, analyze performance, and track risk within regulatory and internal guidelines
  • Prepare underwriting packages for annual reviews, amendments, restructures, and new debt financings
  • Manage project issues and provide risk-mitigated solutions while advocating for the Bank's position with sponsors
  • Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, consultants, and engineers to support financing requests and portfolio management
  • Review complex legal documents and third-party reports to support financing requests and mitigate risk
  • Analyze financial models to identify underwriting, cash flow, and accounting risks
  • Support special projects including policy and procedure updates
  • Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics, AML/Bank Secrecy Act, and information security policies
Key requirements
  • Typically Bachelor's degree and five+ years of related experience or MBA/JD with one+ years related experience
  • Proven credit underwriting and financial analysis skills with cash flow expertise in complex transactions
  • Understanding of project finance transactions, loan documentation, and deal structuring mechanics
  • Ability to review large volumes of deal-related documentation and produce clear underwriting packages
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Experience with internal credit policies and approval processes
