Overview In this role you will act as a customer advocate within Zurich's Middle Market team, focusing on delivering end-to-end Property & Casualty solutions that meet client needs. You will work in a hybrid Edina, MN setup, collaborating with brokers, agents, and cross-functional teams to grow a profitable book of business. You will shape risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing while strengthening broker partnerships and improving the customer experience. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain broker and client relationships across industries to support business objectives
- Apply Property & Casualty underwriting expertise to risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing to grow and maintain a profitable book
- Collaborate with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and other underwriting teams to understand and manage risk
- Negotiate with distribution partners and expand preferred partnerships within the assigned territory
- Serve as a customer advocate to improve overall customer experience and end-to-end solutions
- Operate in a hybrid, team-oriented environment with cross-functional coordination
Key requirements- Experience in underwriting or market facing roles with a track record of managing time-sensitive quotes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle time-constrained quotes for new and renewal business
- Experience appropriate to Executive Underwriter or AVP level as described in the qualifications
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty underwriting processes and risk assessment
