Financial Manager

In this role, you will manage the financial backbone of multi-year infrastructure programs, shaping budgets, forecasts, and procurement strategies. You will partner with project teams to deliver accurate financial data, maintain cash-positive project trajectories, and ensure contract-aligned billing and reporting. You will interact with project teams, customers, and executives to translate financial insights into strategic actions. This is a growth-focused, cross-functional, senior financial role in a mission-critical sector.

• Collaborate with project teams to prepare budgets and forecast manpower for multi-year programs
• Perform weekly budget vs. actual analysis and address variances with project managers
• Maintain cash flow forecasts to keep projects cash-positive
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly billing submissions
• Track contract reconciliations and changes to reflect accurate financial data
• Conduct Key Project Reviews (KPR) to monitor financials and performance
• Support monthly financial forms and provide variance explanations
• Lead procurement planning with project teams to develop post-award plans
• Ensure procurement aligns with plan before 20% job completion and analyze purchased vs. planned budgets
• Enter orders in CMS system and create work orders for scheduling
• Generate and submit monthly project billing and resolve billing issues
• Post invoices in customer and company accounting systems
• Prepare data for monthly reports and participate in weekly project meetings
• Monitor contract compliance and ensure reporting aligns with billing requirements
