Overview

As Global Account Director, you will lead the growth and management of key global accounts in transportation and logistics. You'll drive revenue through strategic account planning, cross-region coordination, and delivery excellence while guiding a team of account managers. You'll work closely with senior leadership to align global strategies with client needs and DSV's growth goals. This role offers the chance to shape how large accounts are served across regions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead global alignment of the account management structure across regions and coordinate the global strategy for each account
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely issue resolution
  • Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV management
  • Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
