Pre Sales Engineer

In this role you will support sales efforts for Verisk SBS, demonstrating rating and related software to prospective clients and preparing RFI/RFP responses. You will work closely with product and market teams to align solutions with client needs, maintaining demonstrations, collateral, and proof-of-concept environments. You'll help shape responses with an analytical lens and ensure product details reflect current features and roadmap. This position offers exposure to end-to-end sales processes within a leading insurance software vendor and the opportunity to influence product development in the rating domain.

• Support sales executives and account managers for new and existing business opportunities
• Demonstrate SBS products with initial focus on Rating systems, including demos, collateral, environments, and POCs
• Lead tender processes for RFI/RFP responses with analytical, big-picture business and technical perspective
• Maintain and curate the RFI/RFP response library with up-to-date product details
• Collaborate with Product team to enhance products and develop new rating-related solutions
• Support market initiatives and marketing events as required
• Adhere to the pre-sales process and protocols
• Develop pre-sales expertise and communication skills

• 5 years+ experience in either a vendor/consultant role or as an insurance practitioner
• Demonstrable experience in an analysis role
• Demonstrable experience with sales engagements
• Strong written and documentation skills
• Experience with Admitted Rating Solutions or Policy Admin Systems
• Rulebook product experience
