Overview In this role you will lead sourcing, pricing, and multi-sourcing for PCBA hardware used in AWS infrastructure. You'll manage supplier qualification, capacity planning, and contract manufacturing to ensure scalable, resilient supply for our AI/ML roadmap. You work with cross-functional partners to drive strategic supplier initiatives and deliver low-cost, reliable hardware. You'll engage with executive stakeholders and help shape the future of AWS data-center manufacturing at scale.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement PCBA sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure
- Monitor industry and technology trends to inform roadmaps
- Drive supplier product roadmaps and strategic initiatives in key technologies
- Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements with cross-functional stakeholders
- Create negotiation strategies to meet business objectives and maintain supplier relationships
- Provide weekly core-team updates and monthly executive updates; manage vendor escalations
- Present to senior leadership via written narratives
Key requirements- 5+ years experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
