Overview As a Senior Manager, Product Design at Rubrik, you will lead the next generation of enterprise UX, shaping experiences from AI to cyber resilience. You'll partner with product and engineering leadership to turn business goals into design strategies, while coaching a global design team. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership to raise craft, usability, and cohesive visual language across products. You'll help Rubrik differentiate through design, deep customer insight, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities- Build & Lead High-Performing Teams: recruit, mentor, and retain designers, guiding career growth and coaching craft and soft skills
- Define Strategic Vision: collaborate with VP/Director-level leadership to shape long-term roadmaps and translate business goals into design strategy
- Champion Design Excellence: maintain high standards of craft, usability, and visual consistency across product areas
- Drive Operational Excellence: implement design processes enabling rapid delivery without compromising UX quality
- Evangelize Design Culture: promote Design as a business differentiator across Rubrik, bridging technical complexity and usability
- Deepen Customer-Centricity: foster direct customer relationships and ensure user research guides design decisions
Key requirements- 10+ years in product design
- 3-5 years in formal people management
- Portfolio demonstrating leadership through complex problems, organizational shifts, and launches
- Business acumen: ability to speak PM/Eng language and understand impact of design on outcomes and technical debt
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills to influence executives and teams
- Bachelor in Design (Product, HCI, etc.) or equivalent experience; Master in HCI or MBA is a bonus
