Overview In this role you serve on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location helping customers with full-service tax preparation for individuals and business entities. You act as the primary advisor, delivering tax strategy and guidance while coordinating with a team of bookkeeping specialists. You'll build long-term client relationships, grow the local TurboTax client base, and leverage Intuit resources to support clients year-round. This position blends tax expertise, community engagement, and entrepreneurial ownership in a retail setting.

Responsibilities- Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare taxes for consumer and business clients (simple to complex scenarios)
- Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and future planning needs
- Leverage government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate, personalized tax solutions
- Act as a trusted guide by understanding the client's full financial picture and connecting them to Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma)
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships for year-round support
- Deliver exceptional customer experience and handle inquiries in-person and via video tools
- Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador and generate new leads through outreach
- Partner with marketing and marketing-supported initiatives to grow the client base and brand awareness
- Support cross-functional services to provide a seamless client experience across tax and related needs
Key requirements- 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal/state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season
- 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting (minimum 30 returns/year)
- General bookkeeping knowledge; willingness to upskill toward QuickBooks ProAdvisor
- Experience advising on business tax returns and providing year-round guidance for small businesses
- Must possess or obtain state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds; familiarity with Circular 230
- Comfort with onsite work in a TurboTax store (weekends included) and flexibility in hours
- Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Willingness to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment
