Overview In this role you will manage Mill's order-to-cash processes and apply expertise in retail revenue recognition to drive growth. You will collaborate with Product and Business teams to support our Go To Market strategy and help structure revenue arrangements. You will perform calculations, journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, and support audits and ERP implementations. You will strengthen internal controls around revenue, credit, and collections while partnering with Finance, Data, IT, Legal, and Business Development. This is an opportunity to shape a scalable financial backbone as Mill expands into new revenue streams and commercial solutions.
Responsibilities- Learn and understand the revenue process for all lines of business
- Perform operational accounting and reporting including calculations, reconciliation, and reporting of general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for revenue calculations
- Assist in adding new revenue streams with appropriate internal controls
- Manage sales tax reporting, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly margin analyses for reporting
- Enhance or create internal controls around revenue recognition, credit, and collections
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Data, IT, Legal, and Business Development leads
- Assist with financial statement audits and ERP implementation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related majors including business
- CPA preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- High attention to detail and experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment
