Overview In this role you will lead the Industrial Services function for the Gaffney plant, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of IS facilities and utility systems. You will manage IS operators and technicians, drive maintenance strategies, and uphold compliance and environmental standards. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, cross functional collaboration, and resource conservation within a large manufacturing setting. Responsibilities- Lead safe, reliable, and efficient IS operations to meet production demand while directing and developing the IS team
- Oversee maintenance of IS equipment using planned and predictive maintenance, SAP AMM, and Nestlé maintenance strategy within budget
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal Nestlé requirements, maintaining updated documentation and a strong change-management process
- Optimize utility systems operation to minimize resource use and environmental impact, promoting conservation
- Lead continuous improvement and execution of capital and operational projects in the IS area via NCE concepts
- Coordinate with quality, safety, production, finance, HR, engineering, and external partners to align management on regulatory and NGO requirements
- Develop IS discipline expertise and review industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Participate in professional activities and apply learned practices to IS operations
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of engineering, maintenance, or industrial services experience
- Refrigeration experience required; ammonia experience preferred
- Boiler, compressed air, and high-pressure water systems experience preferred
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience of technical/maintenance teams
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (strongly preferred) or equivalent experience
