Responsibilities- Oversee engagement teams across multiple engagements to ensure adherence to scope
- Maintain bank, vendor and payroll records for clients
- Prepare period-end packages under US GAAP or IFRS, on accrual or cash basis
- Assist with budgets, forecasts or projections
- Build, prepare or analyze dashboards or KPI metrics
- Ensure timely client communication and adherence to timelines
- Interact with clients regularly or delegate to senior staff
- Control engagement budgets and address overruns
- Invoice clients monthly and manage aged receivables
- Perform team training and participate in business development, including travel
Key requirements- 7-10 years of accounting experience with recent time as an account manager or equivalent
- Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and US GAAP
- Knowledge of taxation matters (individual, corporate, sales, property & business taxes)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Fluent in business English (read, write, speak)
- Ability to travel to client or office locations
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with at least one accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online)
